Spring 2009 Required Texts
Available at the Longwood University Bookstore:
- The Complete Works of Shakespeare, ed. Bevington (6th ed.) [ISBN: 9780205606283] *
- Optional: Shakespeare A to Z, ed. Charles Boyce. [ISBN: 0385313616]
- You should also have a good collegiate dictionary, and please acquaint yourself with the location of the Oxford English Dictionary (second edition) in the library at your earliest convenience.
*If you already have a good, annotated edition of Shakespeare (e.g., the Riverside or Pelican), feel free to use it instead. If you want a less bulky book, Bevington's The Necessary Shakespeare contains all of the plays we're reading and the lineation is the same as our edition.
You should also have a good collegiate dictionary. And please familiarize yourself with the location of the Oxford English Dictionary in the library at your earliest convenience.
