Intersession 2013-2014

This online World Literature course (ENGL 201) will be conducted using a course management service called Canvas.  Longwood will assign you a password to access Canvas after you register for the course. Click here to access Canvas. (If you have trouble accessing Canvas, contact the Helpdesk.) After you have successfully entered Canvas, select the link for ENGL 201 and familiarize yourself with the various parts of the course.  Because Canvas requires a password, the course lecture materials, weekly discussions, your grades, and copyrighted materials will remain private.   But other aspects of the course, such as study guides, links to research materials, and handouts do not require such protection.  You will be able to access all of these materials on Canvas, but you can also access them without going through Canvas by using the menu at the top of this page.

Go here for the course FAQ. For information about online instruction at Longwood, go to: Online @ Longwood University. If you have difficulty accessing Canvas, contact Longwood's User Support Services at helpdesk@longwood.edu or by calling 434-395-4357 (toll free: 877-267-7883) between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. If you have other questions about the content of the course, please contact the instructor:  Shawn Smith.

Distance learners: Several slots have been reserved for distance learners in this course. If you live outside of Farmville, and especially if you are a teacher who needs this course for certification, please contact the instructor and request an override if the class is full.
